A young child’s favorite activity to pass time is Coloring. Kids just love coloring. Seeing all these wonderful colors spread out in front of their eyes never fails to bring a wide million dollar smile on their faces.

If you have a young growing child at home, you should teach him how to color. It not only develops his writing skills but also gets him used to various colors and helps him learn the names of each one of them. Instead of buying those fat and heavy coloring books for your child whom he would find extremely difficult to handle and manage, you should try using printable coloring pages. They are just single sheets of outlines of pictures which your kid can color into and make it colorful. Single pages are far easier to color upon as compared to heavy 100-page books that a young child wouldn’t even be capable to lift on his own. The convenience in use is the main advantage of printable coloring pages over coloring books. Also, you can handpick the designs of the coloring pages and select the ones you like best, or your child likes best and then start taking printouts of those. Since the printable coloring pages designs would be your child’s choice, he would love them even more.

Printable coloring pages are nothing but simple designs or pictures consisting of just an outline of a picture. You’re supposed to download these pictures and take printouts of them and hand them over to your child. He can then fill in these pictures with wonderful colors and gain loads of fun and learning at the same time.
